Building Permit Fee Schedule Update – Effective April 15, 2026

Lee County Community Development has updated its permit fee schedule to better align the fees with the cost of providing permitting and inspection services. Fees will be assessed using the fee schedule in effect on the date they are added to the permit record.

Overview:​

The Lee County Construction Licensing Board reviews and approves all applications for local Certificates of Competency. Without an appropriate active Certificate of Competency, a construction contractor or subcontractor cannot legally contract to provide construction services in Lee County. This board also hears arguments about whether a contractor’s Certificate of Competency should be revoked.
