Building Permit Fee Schedule Update – Effective April 15, 2026

Lee County Community Development has updated its permit fee schedule to better align the fees with the cost of providing permitting and inspection services. Fees will be assessed using the fee schedule in effect on the date they are added to the permit record.

Building, Remodeling or Repairing

All development in the floodplain (aka Special Flood Hazard Area) needs a local permit. ​​​​National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) regulations apply to any permitted construction in the Special Flood Hazard Area, which includes A, AE and AH zones in unincorporated Lee County, or in the Coastal High Hazard Area, which includes VE zones.
