Lee County Human & Veteran Services has assistance programs available to many Lee County residents. Our assistance programs are available in three broad categories: Financial Assistance, Homelessness Assistance, and Veteran Assistance.

Financial Assistance programs help eligible Lee County residents maintain safe and stable housing and meet essential household needs. Services may include assistance with utilities, housing-related expenses, home repairs, and homeownership opportunities, with the goal of promoting housing stability and long-term self-sufficiency.

Homelessness Assistance

Homelessness Assistance programs provide support to individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of losing their housing. Through Coordinated Entry and other housing-focused services, residents can be connected to available community resources, shelter, outreach, housing programs, and supportive services designed to help achieve and maintain stable housing.

Veteran Assistance

Veteran Assistance programs help veterans, surviving spouses, and eligible dependents access the federal, state, and local benefits they have earned through military service. Veteran Services staff provide guidance, advocacy, and assistance with benefit applications, compensation and pension claims, healthcare enrollment, survivor benefits, and other veteran-related resources.

Whether you are facing a temporary hardship, seeking housing resources, or looking to access veteran benefits, Lee County Human & Veteran Services is here to help. Explore the assistance categories below to learn more about the programs and services available to support you and your family.
