​​​​​​​​To renew your Certificate of Competency, you must:

  • Pay your renewal fees.
  • Have current insurance information on file with the Contractor Licensing department.
  • Submit a copy of your current state registration, if applicable.

​To search, click on the Advanced Search link and select Contractor Licensing, then enter your "LIC" number in the Record Number field and/or enter your Business Name under Name of Business.

​​Send Certificates of Insurance and/or copies of state registrations to ContractorLicensing@leegov.com or fax to
239-485-8577.  If you choose to mail in your renewal fees, make check payable to Lee County BOCC.

​Upon receipt of payment and insurance validation, your Certificate of Competency will be delivered by e​mail.

If not renewed or placed in inac​tive status​​ by March 31, Certificate of Competencies expire and cannot be renewed. New licenses require licensing board approval.
