Building Permit Fee Schedule Update – Effective April 15, 2026

Lee County Community Development has updated its permit fee schedule to better align the fees with the cost of providing permitting and inspection services. Fees will be assessed using the fee schedule in effect on the date they are added to the permit record.

The Future Land Use Map


If a property owner believes that the Future Land Use Map does not reflect the adopted designation for his/her property, or would like clarification as to the location of a Future Land Use Line, a Land Use Map Boundary Determination (LUMB) may be requested.  Complete online or download a LUMB application here.  

NOTE:  All LUMB applications involving wetlands must be accompanied by official documentation from the appropriate agency (Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) or South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD).
