The Wet Season High Water Table (WSHWT) contour map was developed using data collected from approximately 190 Water Table Aquifer wells throughout Lee County. The current year WSHWT at each well was determined by averaging the two wettest thirty day periods during the wet season. Then, the historical average of WSHWT for each well was calculated using prior years' data.
The following four specific steps are involved:

Step 1: Calculate the moving average of the three consecutive groundwater elevations at each well during the current wet season.

Step 2: Calculate the average of two highest moving average values determined in Step 1.

Step 3: Calculate time average of WSHWT for entire period of record at each well.

Step 4: Use the time averaged WSHWTs from the Step 3 to develop the contour map
