Lee County offers residents a convenient and responsible way to recycle common electronic items. Accepted electronics include:
  • Computers
  • Printers & Copiers
  • Scanners
  • Televisions & Monitors



You can either place these items curbside with your regular garbage or bring them directly to the Topaz Court Solid Waste Facility for proper recycling.

What’s Not Accepted for Electronics Recycling?
The following items are not recyclable through this program and should be placed with your regular household garbage:
  • Wires & Cables
  • Keyboards & Mice
  • Remote Controls
  • Modems & Routers
  • Microwaves & Toaster Ovens
  • Corded Vacuum Cleaners
  • Solar Panels
  • Satellite Dishes

Data Security Reminder
Before recycling any electronic device, please erase all personal data.

Lee County partners with industry-certified electronics recyclers who:
  • Erase or destroy hard drives and memory-containing devices
  • Disassemble each device to recover reusable or recyclable components
  • Follow strict data security and environmental protocols
