Scope Of Work:1.1. The Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract with a Library of qualified Vendor’s to perform various projects including but not limited to cleanup and maintenance projects within creeks, waterways, wetland, preserves, and upland areas throughout Lee County on an as-needed basis. All work performed to follow Federal, State, Local, OSHA and department mandated regulations and specifications for associated work. The scope of work for these projects shall be developed individually and may include one or more of the following tasks:

1.1.1. Removal (manual and/or mechanical) of nuisance vegetation from designated portions within creeks, waterways, wetland, preserves, and upland areas. Nuisance vegetation includes invasive species listed as Category I & II by the Florida Invasive Species Council (FISC) as well as other native and non-native species as determined by the County Project Manager for each individual project. Removal may include herbicidal treatment by or under the supervision of an applicator with the appropriate State of Florida certification.

1.1.2. Removal of vegetative and non-vegetative debris if determined to be an impediment to flow, have an adverse impact on water quality, or be a hazard to navigation.

1.1.3. Planting of native vegetation as needed to restore site conditions or comply with permit requirements.

1.1.4. Grading or excavation.

1.1.5. Other incidental tasks determined by the County Project Manager to be necessary to complete project.
