Project Name: Waste to Energy Hardening CDBG CEI & Grant Compliance
Scope of Work: Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract with a qualified Vendor for Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) and grant compliance services. Vendor shall provide contract administration, inspection and grant compliance administration and oversite for the project known as CN220230BAG Waste to Energy Hardening Design Services - CDBG in general accordance with Lee County, Florida State Statutes, procedures, and associated CDBG grant requirements.
The Vendor shall be responsible for providing CEI services and observations and inspections of the Project. As such the Vendor is expected to be capable of providing all services as defined and described herein, and shall follow all applicable Federal, State, County, local government and grant regulations, laws, provisions, procedures and the like.
The Vendor shall provide compliance oversight, track, audit and interview the Contractor and his sub-contractors for compliance with the Davis Bacon Act.
The purpose of this solicitation is to define, describe, and summarize the generalized scope of work and responsibilities required of the Vendor selected to provide CEI services for the purpose of selecting a CEI Vendor. The County reserves the right to finalize aspects of this scope of work during contract negotiations prior to the final agreement.
