| Scope Of Work: | Scope of work is described as: work necessary to connect approximately 110 additional intersections to Lee County’s existing Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS). The project will expand the Lee County existing communications infrastructure, improve the efficiency of the County’s roadway network, and improve incident management and response through the expansion of the video monitoring equipment for traffic management purposes. Services shall include, but not be limited to: furnish and install of trenched conduit, fiber optic cable, splice enclosures, multi-conductor communication cable, fiber optic cable splices, pull boxes, electrical service wire, new controllers, concrete CCTV poles, aluminum poles, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) cabinets, steel CCTV poles, and provide camera installations, directional boring services, and pedestrian improvements.
This project is funded in part or in whole by: the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) as a Local Agency Program (LAP) project. FDOT Project #: 412636-4-58-01.
This project requires that the awarded Contractor be FDOT Pre-Qualified under the work class of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). Contractor(s) that do not meet this qualification shall not be considered for award of this project.
