Perfect Game 14U Select Baseball Festival

Quickly established as the premier game at the 14u age level, the Perfect Game 14u Select Baseball Festival returns for the third year in a row to JetBlue Ballpark, the Spring Training home of the Boston Red Sox in Fort Myers, Fla. The four-day event will take place Thursday, August 30 through Sunday, September 2, with the game itself being played on September 2. The game will be nationally televised and streamed on MLB.com. The game consists of the 40 best 14u players in North America, split between two 20-man rosters in a East/West matchup. Players that attend Perfect Game showcase and tournament events during the 2018 event season are eligible to qualify for the PG 14u Select Baseball Festival, and the players must be from the class of 2022 or be under the age of 15 by May 1, 2018. Proceeds of the event will once again go to Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida and the event includes a visit to the hospital where the players have the opportunity to interact with the young patients. In addition to the numerous tournament events players can attend to quality for the PG 14u Select Baseball Festival, Perfect Game has introduced six regional showcase designed to identify young talent that qualify for this event. In addition, the 14u National Showcase returns to Fort Myers in early August (4-5) for the second year as another key step in the identification and selection process.
