Land Management Plans (LMPs) are an important part of the conservation, protection and management of Lee County's Environmental Lands. Each LMP provides an overview of the environment and ecosystems on a preserve and outlines the actions necessary to restore, conserve and protect the land.
There are several approval stages before a LMP becomes active. This process includes approval by the Management Subcommittee, CLASAC, and the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Before the plan is sent to the BOCC for final approval, it is made available for public review and comment. If you are reviewing a LMP during the public comment period, you may email your comments to firstname.lastname@example.org.
