| Scope Of Work: | Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract with a qualified Vendor to complete a progressive Design Build project that includes the design, permitting, and construction improvements to restore the Fort Myers Beach Water Reclamation Facility (FMB WRF) to its permitted treatment capacity of 6.0 million gallons per day (MGD) in order to handle the projected future flow conditions, and ensure long-term efficient operation and performance, including any combination of structural and non-structural additions, changes, or adjustments to structures which reduce or eliminate flood damage to existing and proposed structures and equipment critical to the treatment process. The FMB WRF must also be designed and constructed to meet the requirements of Advanced Wastewater Treatment (AWT) as required under SB 712. |
