The Causeway Islands are two spoil islands used to link the mainland to Sanibel Island.

• There is a $6 toll; no fee for parking
  
• Island "A" located just after the toll bridge offers parking only
  
• Island "B" located after the second bridge offers restrooms, drinking fountains and picnic tables
  
• Activities include fishing, swimming, picnicking, kayaking, paddle boarding, wind surfing, kite boarding and shelling.
• Grilling is permitted.
• Leashed pets are welcome.
• No launching or retrieval of vessels, to include aerial and water crafts.
• No ground fires permitted.
• No alcoholic beverages allowed.
  
• A Saltwater Fishing License is required to saltwater fish from shore. There is no fee for Florida residents.
  
• Pet Waste that is left uncollected degrades water quality. With an estimated 134,000 dogs and 154,000 cats in Lee County, this results in a lot of waste that washes into our waterways increasing bacteria and nutrients.
