Celebrating 30,000 acres protected for wildlife, water quality and recreation

The number of Conservation 20/20 acres that the Lee Board of County Commissioners has voted to purchase recently surpassed 30,000. Commissioners invited Lee County residents and visitors to celebrate this milestone with several events in March, 2020 to highlight the county’s Conservation 20/20 program. This included a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Commissioners, guided hikes at Conservation 20/20 preserves, educational presentations, guided kayak tours, and more.
