Details: The $48.5 million renovations to the Lee County Sports Complex and Hammond Stadium will result in a state-of–the art spring training facility for the Minnesota Twins.  The seating in this complex, which is also home to the Florida State League Fort Myers Miracle, will expand from 8,000 to 9,300 seats and additional premium amenities will be introduced.

The project will be completed in two phases.  Phase 1 renovations to be completed by February, 2014, will include a new residential player development academy, renovations to the minor league clubhouse and administrative areas, new Gulf Coast League playing field, new agility field, a 360 degree boardwalk and concourse at Hammond Stadium including new berm seating in left field and additional parking.  Phase 2 renovations will be completed by February, 2015, and will include upgraded, expanded concourses, improved concession services, restroom renovations, premium seating improvements, clubhouse expansion and improvements, a new retail store, new areas for group seating and press box renovations.

Total square footage added:  42,000 sf to the boardwalk addition and 57,000 sf expansion in stadium.
