Florida Division of Emergency Management Testing Site

This site was created through a partnership with the Florida Division of Emergency Management, the Florida Department of Health, the Florida National Guard, Lee County, and Collier County. This site supports testing for residents in the area, including Lee County and Collier County residents.

  • Cost: Free
  • Hours: Opens at 9:00 am, last car to be admitted into the gate at 3:30 pm. or when testing capacity reaches its limit.
    • This is an outside testing facility, and the weather determines if the testing site can stay operational. Lightning, heavy rain or gusty wind can slow down operations or completely shut down the site.
    • The average wait from the front gate is an hour and a half.

More Information

  • Testing is available for anyone ages 5 and older regardless of symptoms. No appointment, doctor's note, or prescription is required.
    • You must bring a valid photo ID for every adult being tested.
    • Bring a face covering/mask, you must cover your mouth for the nasal swab.
    • Bring your own water, snacks, and any medication that you will need.  Especially if you have any medical condition that requires you to eat.
    • The test site is drive-thru only. 
      • You must stay in your vehicle at all times.
      • Individuals being tested will not be permitted to exit their vehicle. 
      • Keep your windows closed until given direction to open for the nasal swab.
      • Your vehicle must have working windows that can be lowered for testing, doors must stay closed at all times.
      • Make sure your vehicle has enough fuel to last the entire time, plan accordingly.
    • Be patient, be kind, the people who choose to be tested are people who believe they might have the COVID virus, so keeping the workers safe is important. 
  • Reporting and Lab Results:
    • If you have not been contacted within 5 days after testing, you may request your result by: 
    1. Calling: (850) 583-2419 Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. through 8:00 P.M., ET. 
    2. Sending an email to COVID19Results@cdrmhealth.com You will be prompted to complete an Authorization to Release Information

Florida Department of Health Walk-Up Testing Sites

  • Cost: Free
  • Hours: Testing is scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning at 9 a.m. and will continue, weather-permitting, until 1 p.m. Staff will have 300 tests available at each site for anyone 4 years of age or older.
