The County's proposed adoption is pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 163.3220. The purpose of the agreement is to provide appropriate mitigation as required by Section 163.3178(8)(a), Florida Statutes, and the Lee Plan, to address impacts of any increased density on hurricane evacuation times resulting from the comprehensive plan amendment CPA2025-00003.
