4.        Lee Plan Amendment

           A.  CPA2026-00005 Future Land Use Element Update

                 Amend the Future Land Use Element to increase efficiency, reduce unnecessary regulations, while maintaining the protection of public health, safety, and welfare and meeting State requirements. To maintain internal consistency and in order to relocate certain provisions amendments are also proposed to the Lee Plan Vision, Transportation Element, Conservation and Coastal Management Element, Historic Preservation Element, Administration, Glossary and the Lee Plan's appendices. The proposed amendments will not change allowable densities and intensities within Lee County.  Specifically, the proposed amendments amend the Lee Plan's Vision Statement, Glossary, Administrative Element and Goals 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 36,  and 124, Maps 1-C, and 1-D, and Table 1(a); Deletes Goals 3, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 34 and Maps 1-G, 2-A, 2-B, 2-C, 2-E, 3-G, and 3-H; and relocates text or layers from amended or deleted Goals and Maps to Goals 40, 114, 129, and 143, and new Maps 5-E and 5-F 

5.        Land Development Code Amendments

         A.    Amend Chapters 2, 10, 14, 33, and 34 of the LDC to increase efficiency, reduce unnecessary regulations, while maintaining the protection of public health, safety, and welfare and meeting State requirements.

         B.     Amend Chapter 34 of the Land Development Code to incorporate Planned Development requirements for the Southeast Lee County Planning District.

         C.     Amend Chapters 6 of the Land Development Code for consistency with FEMA requirements concerning accessory structures.
