On November 4, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., the Lee County Board of Port Commissioners will hold an Executive Session for the purpose of discussing negotiations between Lee County Port Authority and Southwest Florida Professional Firefighters and Paramedics, Local 1826, District 10, International Association of Firefighters, Inc.
The opening of the public meeting will convene in the County Commission Chambers, Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida, and will adjourn to a Closed Executive Session in the East Room of the Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida. Upon conclusion of the closed session, the public Special Meeting will reconvene in the County Commission Chambers.
The purpose of the closed Executive Session is to discuss negotiations between Lee County Port Authority and Southwest Florida Professional Firefighters and Paramedics, Local 1826, District 10, International Association of Firefighters, Inc., and will be held pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 286.011(8). The following individuals will be in attendance at this closed executive session: County Commissioners: Kevin Ruane, Cecil L Pendergrass, David Mulicka, Brian Hamman; Attorneys: Richard Wm. Wesch, Andrea Fraser, Rob Holborn; Executive Director: Steven Hennigan.
Immediately following the closed Executive Session, the Board will reconvene its open public meeting and, if necessary, take action on this matter to include approving, modifying, or denying negotiations.
