Where: Lee County Commissioners Meeting Room
Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street
Fort Myers, Florida 33901

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, the 19th day of August, 2025 at 9:30 a.m., in the County Commissioners Meeting Room, Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida, the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida, will consider the adoption of an agreement with Lee Blvd Investments, LLC.

The agreement pertains to the County's payment for turn lane extension, intersection improvements, and traffic signal construction by Lee Blvd Investments, LLC of a county roadway located at Lee Boulevard and Leonard Boulevard in Fort Myers. Pursuant to a professional engineer's cost estimate, the estimated cost of the project to be paid by the County is $1,062,867.45. It is in the Public's best interest for the Board of County Commissioners to accept this project proposal at the public hearing because the estimated cost to the Public is significantly lower than if the project were constructed by the County using the normal procurement process.

Copies of this Notice, the proposed Agreement, the professional engineer's cost estimate, and the determination of cost savings pursuant to Section 336.71(1)(e) are on file with the Lee County Department of Transportation. The Lee County Department of Transportation is located in the Public Works Building, 1500 Monroe Street, Fort Myers, FL. The Department of Transportation's telephone number is (239) 533-8580.

Interested parties may appear at the meeting in person or through counsel and be heard with respect to the adoption of the proposed Agreement.

Anyone wishing to appeal the Board's decision(s) with respect to any matter considered at this hearing will need a record of the proceedings. The person appealing the decision is required to ensure that the necessary verbatim record is made.
