On May 20, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., the Lee County Board of County Commissioners will hold a closed executive session to discuss collective bargaining labor negotiations between the Southwest Florida Professional Firefighters and Paramedics, Local 1826 and Lee County as authorized by Section 447.605, Florida Statutes.
The opening of the public meeting will convene in the County Commission Chambers, Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida, and will adjourn to a closed Executive Session in the East Room of the Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida. Upon conclusion of the closed session, the public Special Meeting will reconvene in the County Commission Chambers.
The purpose of the closed Executive Session is to discuss collective bargaining labor negotiations between Southwest Florida Professional Firefighters and Paramedics, Local 1826 and Lee County as authorized by Section 447.605, Florida Statutes. The following individuals will be in attendance at this closed executive session:
County Commissioners: Kevin Ruane, Cecil L. Pendergrass, David Mulicka, Brian Hamman, Mike Greenwell; Attorneys: Richard Wm. Wesch, Andrea R. Fraser, Robert D. Holborn, Sacha Dyson and County Manager Dave Harner. Immediately following the closed Executive Session, the Board will reconvene its open public meeting.
