​Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida will consider the enactment of a county ordinance on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 9:30 a.m., in the County Commissioners' Meeting Room, Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida. The title of the proposed ordinance is:

AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE LEE COUNTY UTILITIES RECLAIMED WATER SYSTEM; PROVIDING FOR SHORT TITLE, PURPOSE AND TERRITORIAL SCOPE; PROVIDING FOR DEFINITIONS; PROVIDING FOR RESPONSIBILITIES OF LEE COUNTY UTILITIES; PROVIDING FOR RESPONSIBILITIES OF RECLAIM CUSTOMERS; PERTAINING TO MODIFICATIONS THAT MAY ARISE FROM CONSIDERATION AT PUBLIC HEARING; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, INCLUSION IN CODE AND SCRIVENER'S ERRORS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Copies of this Notice and the proposed ordinance are available for inspection or copying during regular business hours at the Minutes Office of the Clerk of Courts of Lee County, located in the Courthouse Administration Building, 2115 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida. Interested parties may appear at the meeting in person or through counsel, and be heard with respect to the adoption of the proposed ordinance.

Anyone wishing to appeal the Board's decision(s) with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings. Generally, a verbatim record, including all testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, will be necessary.
