​Notice is hereby given that there will be two public hearings before the Lee County Board of County Commissioners to consider the County's adoption of a Development Agreement between The Place at Corkscrew, LLC, and Lee County pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 163.3220.  The substance of the development agreement is to provide for mitigation of the transportation impacts associated with the Camprop-Corkscrew Farms Project.

The subject property is located at 17501 Corkscrew Rd., Southwest Lee County Planning Community, Lee County, FL.  The development uses approved for the Camprop-Corkscrew Farms Project under County Resolution Z-15-025 include up to 1,325 single family/two family attached residential dwelling units and customary accessory uses and structures may be developed on the Property. An amenity center and other ancillary uses and facilities, including but not limited to a clubhouse, mail kiosk, and other private recreational uses, may also be constructed on the Property.  The Project parcel is approximately 1,361.1± acres.

The Public Hearings will be held on April 5, 2016, and April 19, 2016, at 9:30 a.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, in the Lee County Commission Meeting Room 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida.

A copy of the draft development agreement and Approved Zoning Resolution #Z-15-025 are available for public inspection at the Lee County Department of Community Development, 1500 Monroe Street, Fort Myers, Florida, on any weekday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Anyone wishing to appeal the Board's decision(s) with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings. Generally, a verbatim record, including all testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, will be necessary.
