​SCOPE:  Provide Lee County with fixed rate loans, pursuant to a $3,700,000 Term Loan Program at the lowest overall borrowing cost and in the best interest of the County.

This Term Loan Program will be used to fund the acquisition and construction of various improvements within specified special improvement areas within the County over the next two years.

A copy of the Request for Proposals (RFP) may be obtained from Lee County's Financial Advisor, Dunlap & Associates, Inc., kryman@dunlapandassociates.com at no charge. Or you may download these documents from the County's Internet site at www.leegov.com/procurement/projects.   IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE VENDORS TO REVIEW THIS SITE FOR ANY AND ALL ADDENDUMS.

Sealed Proposals will be received by Lee County Budget Services 2115 Second Street - 4th Floor, Fort Myers, Florida 33901, until  January 6, 2016, at 2:00 PM, and will be opened immediately thereafter.

All Proposers are hereby placed on formal notice that neither the County Commissioners nor candidates for County Commission nor any employees from the Lee County Government nor any members of the Evaluation Review Committee are to be lobbied either individually or collectively concerning this proposal.  Proposers and their agents who intend to, or have submitted proposals for this proposal are hereby placed on formal notice that they are not to contact members of the County Commission nor candidates for County Commission nor staff members outside of regular Board of County Commissioner Meetings , for such purposes as holding meetings of introduction, meetings relating to the evaluation process outside of those specifically scheduled by the County for negotiations, dinners, lunches, or any other actions that may be interpreted as potentially influencing the results of this process.  Failure to comply with this requirement shall result in an immediate disqualification of such firm by the County from further consideration for this proposal.

Lee County reserves the exclusive rights to: 1) require oral presentations, if necessary; 2) waive any informalities in the evaluation process, 3) accept or reject any or all proposals in part or in whole, with or without cause; 4) request additional information; 5) limit and determine the actual contract services to be included in a final proposed contract; and 6) reject all proposals if found by the Board of County Commissioners not to be in the best interests of Lee County.
