Purchase OrganicLee® compost directly from the Solid Waste Division either in 20 lb. bags or in bulk quantities by the cubic yard.

OrganicLee® compost is produced by the Lee County Solid Waste Division at the
Bulk quantities of up to eight cubic yards of OrganicLee® compost can be picked up at the Resource Recovery Facility in Buckingham. Bulk quantities of up to 20 cubic yards can be picked up at the Lee/Hendry Landfill. It is highly recommended that customers contact the landfill at 239-369-2030 prior to arriving to ensure that inventory is available.

Lee County Fertilizer Ordinance prohibits the application of fertilizers during the months of June through September. OrganicLee's® composition makes it exempt from the prohibition. The material generated by the Solid Waste Division is comprised of organic materials primarily derived from yard waste, with the complimentary feed stock also being organic, resulting in a composted organic material that is suitable for use year-round .
