2:30 PM | | Scope Of Work: | The Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract for professional services through a skilled and qualified CONSULTANT to provide Professional Engineering, Architectural Design and Construction Management services for the Lee County Transit (LeeTran) Bus Stop and Facility ADA Improvement Program. The CONSULTANT shall provide professional engineering and consulting services associated with the design of landing pads that must comply with the Lee County Transit Development Code (LDC) where applicable, which exceed ADA standards. The LDC required infrastructure allows for amenities to include a bicycle rack, a trash receptacle, and a passenger shelter. If there is not sufficient, existing easement and/or Right-of-Way (ROW) to meet LDC requirements, at a minimum the bus stop must adhere to ADA standards. If the bus stop cannot be brought into compliance, design of relocation may be necessary. |
