​Please join us in celebrating the 25th anniversary of Lee County's Waste-to-Energy Plant.

What to expect:

• The family-friendly event is designed to provide insight to what happens to the 1,800 tons of waste material produced by local residents each day.

• Tours, refreshments, educational displays and a 10 a.m. ceremony with the Lee Board of County Commissioners and other speakers will be available.

• Informational displays from several county departments, including Parks & Recreation, Extension Services, Lee County Library System and Natural Resources will be on display.
