| Scope Of Work: | The Project consists of removal and replacement of the existing switchgear located at the Melvin Morgan Constitutional Complex at 2480 Thompson St. Ft. Myers, FL. 33901. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to: all required manpower to take delivery of existing gear (3 section main switchboard and 2 pad mounted step-down (T1-112.5 kVA and T2-150kVA)) such as disconnect all conduits, cables, grounding and bus duct from existing gear and installation of a new 1600 Amp main disconnect and switchgear with reconnection of all conduits, cables, grounding, and bus ducts. The existing switchboard contains 2 main breakers- 1 for the utility and 1 for the generator-and fed through an internal closed-transition transfer switch. CONTRACTOR shall include provisions to discontinue the closed transition agreement with Florida Power & Light (FP&L) as part of the work. Work shall be a complete “Turn Key” package inclusive of all: switchgear, miscellaneous material, and labor (including nights, weekends, and holidays as project requires) necessary to complete scope of work and all project requirements contained herein. |
