| Scope Of Work: | In Phase I of this request, Lee County Board of County Commissioners is seeking proposals from qualified consultant(s) specializing in the documentation of business requirements and the development of Request for Proposals as outlined below. The outcome will be to award a contract with a consultant(s) to assess the current state of the radio system and the path required to maintain reliable and current technological functionality. The successful respondent to the RFP must not be aligned with a specific implementation service delivery provider and must demonstrate knowledge, skill and experience in gathering recommendations on potential in-sourcing opportunities.
The County envisions that there will be subsequent phases to this project to engineer and implement the new radio system. Lee County reserves the right to retain the selected vendor for Phase 2. Vendor submittals will itemize each task and associated cost, including optional and subsequent phase items. All data received from vendor must be in a format approved by Lee County. Electronic documents, spreadsheets, data, pictures, files, etc. must allow for effortless import/export into common program or applications used by Lee County. Data, including but not limited to, references, documents, presentations, pictures, files and spreadsheets supporting recommendations or conclusions will be submitted in addition to the final document. Successful respondents will provide a detailed timeline per task and project completion in Phase 1 from issuance of a Purchase Order to delivery of the final and comprehensive analysis. Final pricing for the project will be considered “turnkey”, complete and comprehensive with no additional fees or invoicing not pre-approved by Lee County Procurement Management.
