Celebrating 30,000 acres protected for wildlife, water quality and recreation
The number of
Conservation 20/20 acres that the Lee Board of County Commissioners has voted to purchase recently surpassed 30,000. Commissioners invite Lee County residents and visitors to celebrate this milestone with several dozen events planned in March to highlight the county’s Conservation 20/20 program. This includes a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Commissioners, guided hikes at Conservation 20/20 preserves, educational presentations at regional libraries, guided kayak tours, and more.
