Lee County Parks & Recreation (LCPR) Pine Island pool is a heated, outdoor, saltwater pool open year-round complete with hot showers, changing rooms, restrooms, diving board, and water slides.  It is co-located with Phillips Park and, is open daily during the summer and Tuesday through Saturday the rest of the year. Water exercise and lap swim is available year around.  Swim lessons are offered spring, summer and fall.  

It's National Parks & Recreation Month and we're celebrating!

Parking Lot Maintenance 8/10/17-8/15/17

Admission: Low-cost. See chart below.
Supervision: Children should always be supervised by a responsible adult at the pool.
Lifeguard on duty:  Yes.
Pavilion Rental:  Yes. Call the pool to reserve. 
Parking:  Free.
ADA accessibility: Yes, including chair lift.
Cold Weather Policy: If the temp dips below 60 degrees, pools will close. 
Closure due to Weather: No refunds will be issued.

The family pass includes two adults and up to five children.  You can also get your pool pass by mail/in-person.  Here's the form.

Contact Information


The pool opened in 1973 and was the first pool owned and operated by LCPR.  It underwent renovations in 2003 to add waterslides.  In 2010, the pool was converted to saltwater.  Pine Island pool is the only saltwater pool maintained by LCPR.
