Lee TV Adds Nasa Educational Programming

LEE TV ADDS NASA EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING

Ft. Myers, FL (November 9, 2005) - Lee TV, Lee County's government access channel, has added the NASA Television Education File to its lineup.  The two-hour block includes a number of NASA produced programs designed for students and teachers.  Space, physics, chemistry, and the wonders of planet Earth are among the topics explored.

The programs run from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  It will also be broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays 8-10 a.m.
Programming from NASA is subject to change. 

Each month NASA selects a theme to highlight for the education community.  The Education File celebrates these themes by selecting one week each month to broadcast theme-focused videos with something "Extra".  Additional information and resources related to the themes can be found online at NASA's website:

 A monthly program schedule is also available.
