NEW INSIDE LEE COUNTY SHOW AIRING ON LEE TV TAKES LOOK BACK AT 2004 HURRICANE SEASON

Fort Myers, Fl. (August 29, 2005) - Lee County public safety and tourism officials take a look back at 2004's hurricane season and what lessons they learned in the newest edition of Inside Lee County.

Host Ileana LiMarzi speaks with John Wilson, Director of Lee County Public Safety, on what did and didn't work in terms of the county's response to Hurricane Charley last August.  Mark Crabb, from Lee County's Visitor & Convention Bureau, talks about the VCB's response to the storm and its effect on tourism.  Captain Mike Detar, Lee County Sheriff's Office, speaks about what the department learned and how that will help with future planning in dealing with a hurricane event.
