LEE TV NOW SIMULCAST ON THE INTERNET

FORT MYERS, FL. (February 25, 2005) - Lee TV, Lee County's Government Access channel, is now video streaming all programming on the County's internet site - www.lee-county.com.

Just go to the web site, and click on the LEE TV link. Follow the directions from there. You must have Windows Media Player, which can be installed at the site, to view the programming. Being able to view Lee TV using Real Player is coming soon.

Lee TV is a 24-hour channel providing residents with news and information about Lee County Government, including Board of County Commissioners meetings. It also features Newswrap, a show about county programs and projects, Parks & Recreation information, Florida Capitol news, programming about public safety and the environment, and Classic Arts Showcase at night.

Streaming will allow winter residents to access the channel after they have returned north. It also will be helpful for those who currently cannot access the channel from their cable or satellite television providers.

Lee TV also is broadcast on Comcast channel 11, and Time Warner Channel 16.
