If you have ever wanted to know about budding, grafting and air layering of south Florida most commonly grown fruit trees then here is your opportunity. This is a hands-on class. Instructors will bring a limited amount of rootstocks, budwoods, and plants for you to take home. Grafting tools will be available but it is advisable that you bring your own. 

Space is limited. 

1:00 – 1:40 pm Budding and Grafting of Avocadoes and Mangoes

1:50 – 2:30 pm Air Layering of Lychees and Longans
                                  Jim Martin - Caloosa Rare Fruit Club member since 1998

2:40 – 3:25 pm Citrus Propagation and Dwarf Citrus
                                  Dr. Mongi Zekri – Multi-County Citrus Agent, University of                                   Florida, Hendry County Extension, Labelle

                                 Dr. Robert Rouse – Citrus Specialist, University of FL                                  Immokalee Research and Education Center, Immokalee
