Thirteen Lee County EMS Employees Attain Credentials
Feb 20, 2008 Thirteen Lee County Emergency Medical Services Employees Attain Credentials Ft. Myers, Fla.- Lee County Emergency Medical Services announced today that it added thirteen credentialled field providers to its division through their successful completion of the agency's field training program. Recently credentialled employees are: Ryan Staffieri, EMT, Naples, Fla. Joshua Greenman, Paramedic, Estero, Fla., formerly Otego, N.Y. Nichole Libretto, EMT, Cape Coral, Fla. Jason Banko, EMT, Cape Coral, Fla. Melissa Kreider, EMT, Cape Coral, Fla. Jennifer Vassell, EMT, St. James City, Fla. Daren Watson, EMT, Sarasota, Fla. Ray Wiegand, EMT, Venice, Fla. Ed Zarick, EMT, Fort Myers, Fla. Employees credentialled in January include: Robert Orsini, Paramedic, Fort Myers, Fla. Guillermo Ramos, Paramedic, Cape Coral, Fla. formerly Brooklyn, N.Y. Corey Leary, EMT, Fort Myers, Fla. Jordan Dattoli, Paramedic, Bonita Springs, Fla. formerly Lewes, Del. Each paramedic and EMT that Lee County hires or promotes is required to participate in a four week orientation program and complete a field training program. Upon completion of the field training program, recruits are required to sit before an internal credentialling board which includes the EMS medical director. Lee County EMS currently employs 249 credentialled field provider paramedics and EMTs.
