Veterans Pkwy/Del Prado Ramp Closure February 13
Feb 7, 2008 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Sarah Clarke, Lee County DOT Project Manager, 533-8718 VETERANS PARKWAY/DEL PRADO RAMP CLOSURE FEBRUARY 13th CAPE CORAL, FL (February 7, 2008) - Lee County DOT is widening the eastbound off-ramp on Veterans Parkway at Del Prado Boulevard. The ramp must be closed to traffic from 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 to 5:00 a.m. Thursday, February 14th, to allow the existing barrier wall along the off-ramp to be removed. During the ramp closure, eastbound motorists must exit Veterans Parkway at Country Club Boulevard or they will not be able to exit before the Midpoint Bridge and will have to cross the bridge. Message boards will be posted on Veterans Parkway beginning February 8th notifying motorists of the upcoming ramp closure. The message boards will be updated the evening of the closure to direct motorists to exit at Country Club Boulevard as the last exit before the bridge. A detour route (Archer to Shelby) will be posted to direct motorists from Country Club Boulevard to Del Prado Boulevard. Motorists are encouraged to avoid this section of roadway and use alternate routes if possible. |
