County Waiving Parking Fees at Four Regional Parks on June 4th
May 31, 2005 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 31, 2005) - The Board of Lee County Commissioners has waived parking fees at four county regional parks this Saturday (June 4) in observance of National Trails Day. The parks are Caloosahatchee Regional Park, Hickey's Creek Mitigation Park, Manatee Park, and Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve. In addition, free, guided walks will be given at the parks starting at 9 a.m. Lee County's Parks System has more than 50 miles of land trails with multiple-use options, as well as 80 miles of marked paddling trails on the Great Calusa Blueway. |
