Jan 29, 2008 MEDIA ALERT Contact: Jennifer Berg Horizon Council to Present 2007 Economic Results/Preview 2008 FORT MYERS, Fla. (January 29, 2008)--- The Horizon Council of Lee County, a 62-member public-private organization that advises the Lee County Board of Commissioners on economic development issues, will hold its annual meeting on Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater, 1380 Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers. Lunch will be served at 11:15 a.m. with the annual meeting commencing at Noon. Outgoing Horizon Council Chairman, Bruce Gora, along with Regina Smith, Director of Lee County's Economic Development Office, will present the results of economic development activity in Lee County during 2007. The meeting will conclude with Regina Smith and in-coming Chairman Carol Hudler, previewing Lee County's economic development plans for 2008.
