Consumers can register to win $10,000 grand prize in Treasure Your Trip sweepstakes The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel also to award vacations, luggage

LEE COUNTY, FL – As a cornerstone of its year-long Island Treasures Tour promotional road show to drive visitation from key in-state and out-of-state feeder markets, the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB) representing The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel, is conducting a Treasure Your Trip sweepstakes featuring a grand prize of $10,000 in cash.
 
Everyone who registers for the sweepstakes automatically will be entered into the cash prize drawing, and each entrant also will have an opportunity to win instant prizes such as destination vacations and sets of luggage. Seven-day/six-night vacation trips for two to SunStream Hotels & Resorts include round-trip tickets on Southwest Airlines and a stay at one of three resorts – GullWing Beach Resort, Pointe Estero Beach Resort, or DiamondHead Beach Resort; and each three-piece set of American Tourister® luggage consists of a boarding bag, a 22-inch wheeled carry-on bag, and a 30-inch big wheel upright.

To enter the contest, consumers visit www.TreasureYourTrip.com to engage in an interactive on-line treasure hunt that allows them to register for the prizes. The game features a treasure map marked with five Xs. Once visitors register on the site, they can click on any of the Xs and a multiple choice question about the destination appears. They need not answer the questions to register for the instant-win prizes.

The destination is holding the sweepstakes throughout 2008 and promoting it through its Island Treasures Tour to major feeder markets, its fulfillment packet and its direct sales calls to prospects.  The contest runs from Dec. 30, 2007 through Dec. 31, 2008; and the grand prize will be drawn on or about Jan. 30, 2009. The sweepstakes is open only to legal U.S. residents who are at least 18 years of age.
