Tice Street Closure January 2 Through January 5, 2008
Dec 18, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Eyra Cash, Lee County DOT, 533-8562 TICE STREET CLOSURE FROM JANUARY 2nd TO JANUARY 5th FORT MYERS, FL (December 18, 2007) – Tice Street in East Fort Myers between Lexington Avenue and Ortiz Avenue will be closed to traffic from 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2008 to 5:30 p.m., Saturday January 5, 2008, for utility installation. The work coincides with school closures for the holidays. A signed detour will be in place and access will be provided for local traffic to adjacent residences. MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID THIS SECTION OF ROADWAY AND USE ALTERNATE ROUTES IF POSSIBLE.
