Oct 9, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival - Calendar Listings For Oct. 27-Nov. 4 The Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival has more than 40 events over nine days. Saturday, Oct. 27: Imperial River Challenge, a two-mile time-trial event with $1,000 purse. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. at Riverside Park, 10451 Pennsylvania Ave., Bonita Springs (off Old U.S. 41). $10 advance registration; $15 race day. Proceeds benefit Bonita Springs Waterways Conservation Fund. Spectators welcome for free. Part of the Bonita Springs Riverfest and Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival.
