USA BASEBALL PRESENTS "CHAMPIONS PROGRAM" IN FORT MYERS, FLORIDA

WHAT: The USA Baseball Champions Program.  The Program is a National event that will include players aged 12 through 14.  Teams will compete in events coast to coast that will be scouted by the USA Baseball Task Force.  Elite level athletes that are identified by the Task Force will be selected to play for the USA Baseball 14-Under National Team this November in San Juan, Puerto Rico.   

WHEN: October 13-14, 2007

WHERE: Terry Park, Red Sox 5-plex (Fort Myers, Florida) 

DETAILS:  

The 2007 14 U National Team will compete in the Pan American "A" Championships in San Juan, Puerto Rico in November of 2007.
The 14 U National Team saw its first action this past January in a Regional Qualifier event where the team took gold with a perfect 6-0 record.
USA Baseball is the governing body of all amateur baseball played in the United States.
