LEE TV TO AIR  PROFILE OF DR. EUGENIE CLARK, FOUNDING DIRECTOR OF MOTE MARINE LABS

Fort Myers, Fl. (September 10, 2007) – Lee TV, Lee County's government access channel, will begin airing a video that profiles the internationally renowned shark expert, Dr. Eugenie Clark. 

The video, produced by WGCU TV, follows Dr. Clark's career from her founding of the Cape Haze Marine Laboratory in Sarasota which was the precursor to the present day Mote Marine Laboratory.  She taught at the University of Maryland for some 30 years, conducting research on marine species around the world.  She still does research with Mote Marine Labs where she is the Senior Research Scientist. 

The program will air Fridays on Lee TV at 8:30 pm, channel 11 on the ComCast cable system and in Cape Coral on channel 16.
