Summerlin/Gladiolus Intersection to Close Nights Aug 26-30
Aug 23, 2007 August 23, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Amy Davies, Lee County DOT, 533-8589 Summerlin/Gladiolus Intersection to Close Nights August 26-30 FORT MYERS, FL (August 23, 2007) – Through traffic in ALL directions at the intersection of Summerlin Road and Gladiolus Drive will be closed each night from August 26, 2007 through August 30, 2007 for the painting of the bridges. Right turns only will be available on each leg of the intersection. Both flyovers will be open. The intersection will be closed each night beginning Sunday, August 26 until Thursday, August 30 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID THIS INTERSECTION AND USE ALTERNATE ROUTES; U.S. 41 CYPRESS LAKE DRIVE AND WINKLER ROAD.
Access to businesses at the intersection will be provided. Law enforcement will be available to assist with maintenance of traffic. |
