EMS Announces 13 New Recruits

13 new employees join Lee County emergency medical services 

Ft. Myers, Fla.-Lee County Emergency Medical Services announced 13 recruits started on Aug. 2, 2007. 

New recruits are:

Alburn Barnard, Paramedic, Orlando, Fla.

Robert Orsini, Paramedic, Ft. Myers, Fla.

Guillermo Ramos, Paramedic, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Philip Rothman, Paramedic, Boca Raton, Fla.

Sherry Gillette, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), SW Ranches, Fla.

Jonathan Dobbins, EMT, Bartow, Fla.

Cheryl Lee, EMT, Nokomis, Fla.

Paul Wren, EMT, Bradenton, Fla.

Marcos Munoz, EMT, Plantation, Fla.

John McBride, EMT, Boynton Beach, Fla.

Simona Pepitone, EMT, Tamarac, Fla.

Jenifer Raben, EMT, Englewood, Fla.

Christine Friedline, EMT, Laughlintown, Pa.

The recruits will spend the next four weeks of employment attending the agency's new employment orientation program which will initiate them to local protocols and policies. With the addition of the 13 recruits, Lee County EMS employs 247 paramedic and EMTs and is actively working to fill its 32 field provider vacancies.
