Summerlin/San Carlos to Close Nights June 27-28
Jun 25, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Amy Davies, Lee County DOT, 479-8589 Summerlin/San Carlos to Close Nights June 27 to June 28 FORT MYERS, FL (June 25, 2007) - Westbound through traffic at the intersection of Summerlin Road and San Carlos Blvd. will be closed each night from June 27, 2007 to June 28, 2007. In addition, Westbound Summerlin Road will be closed from Pine Ridge to San Carlos Blvd. to allow the contractor to pour the deck on the overpass. Right turns only will be available on all other legs of the intersection except from Westbound Summerlin to Northbound San Carlos. Eastbound traffic will remain open, however traffic will be reduced to one lane. The intersection and Westbound Summerlin from Pine Ridge to San Carlos will be closed each night beginning Wednesday, June 27 until Thursday, June 28 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID THIS INTERSECTION AND USE ALTERNATE ROUTES; PINE RIDGE, JOHN MORRIS AND KELLY ROAD. Access to businesses at the intersection will be provided. Law enforcement will be available to assist with maintenance of traffic.
