Jun 14, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE WARNING TO BOATERS Old Bridge B (the middle bridge) demolition scheduled to begin June 18, 2007 Fort Myers, FL, June 14, 2007 – Demolition of old Bridge B (the middle bridge) is scheduled to begin June 18, 2007. For the safety of the public and the workers, a safety zone will be established around the bridges and will be marked with buoys, no boaters will be allowed within 200' of the work zone and this will be enforced. BOATERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED NEAR OR TO PASS UNDER ANY PART OF EITHER THE OLD OR THE NEW BRIDGE B (THE MIDDLE BRIDGE) FOR APPROXIMATELY 4 WEEKS DUE TO THE DANGEROUS NATURE OF THE DEMOLITION WORK.
