Summerlin/Gladiolus Intersection Close Nights June 4-7
Jun 4, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Amy Davies, Lee County DOT, 479-8589 Summerlin/Gladiolus Intersection to Close Nights June 4-7 FORT MYERS, FL (June 4, 2007) – Through traffic in ALL directions at the intersection of Summerlin Road and Gladiolus Drive will be closed each night from Monday, June 4, 2007 through Thursday, June 7, 2007, for the contractor to hang the signalization onto the new flyovers. Right turns only will be available on each leg of the intersection. Both flyovers will be open. The intersection will be closed each night beginning Monday, June 4 until Thursday, June 7 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID THIS INTERSECTION AND USE ALTERNATE ROUTES; U.S. 41, CYPRESS LAKE DRIVE AND WINKLER ROAD Access to businesses at the intersection will be provided. Law enforcement will be available to assist with maintenance of traffic. |
